Appointment Booking Systems for Businesses in Pakistan
An appointment request is only useful if the time is actually available. We help service businesses turn booking messages and phone notes into a process that customers and staff can both follow, from choosing a slot to changing an appointment.
Discuss your booking workflow →Set the booking rules before designing the calendar
A salon, consultant and repair service do not book time in the same way. We need to know which services can be booked, how long each takes and whether a particular staff member or room is required. Opening hours, breaks and preparation time affect availability. These rules come first; the calendar should reflect how the business works.
Distinguish a request from a confirmed appointment
Some businesses need staff to approve a booking. Others can confirm immediately when capacity is available. The customer should see which process applies and receive a clear status. If two people select the same time, the system must check availability again when saving. A slot shown on an earlier screen cannot be treated as a permanent reservation.
Keep changes manageable for staff
Staff need a practical way to block time, move an appointment and record a cancellation. Decide what happens when someone is absent and which bookings require a call before reassignment. If you already use a calendar, we review whether it can connect reliably and which system owns availability. Two independent calendars can create confusion unless their responsibilities are clear.
Agree on reminders and cancellation rules
Choose when reminders should be sent, which contact channel to use and how customers can opt out where applicable. Messaging-provider costs are scoped separately. Cancellation cut-offs, rescheduling limits and no-show handling should match your published business policy. We can implement agreed rules; we do not choose the policy on your behalf or promise that reminders will eliminate missed appointments.
Scope deposits separately from booking
If a deposit is required, define what counts as payment confirmation and how an unpaid slot expires. A customer uploading a screenshot is different from a verified payment event. Payment-provider access, refunds and reconciliation need their own scope. Start with booking alone if your team is not ready to manage online payments alongside the appointment workflow.
Test the awkward cases before launch
Test two simultaneous requests, a cancelled appointment, staff leave, a customer changing their time and a failed reminder. Confirm the time zone shown to customers and the staff view. Collect only the details needed to arrange the appointment. For an estimate, send your services, durations, staff schedule and the changes customers most often request.
Questions before you start
Can customers choose a staff member?
Yes, if staff-specific availability is included in the scope. We also define what happens when the selected person becomes unavailable.
Can bookings require manual approval?
Yes. The page should clearly label them as requests until approved, with an agreed way to notify the customer.
Do we need online payments from day one?
No. Booking and payment can be separate phases. If deposits are added later, their confirmation and expiry rules need to be planned.
