WhatsApp Automation for Businesses in Pakistan

When the same questions arrive all day, copying the same answers becomes a job of its own. We help you work out which conversations can follow a simple process, where live business data is needed, and when a person should take over.

Start with the conversations you already have

A useful setup starts with your inbox, not a demo. Which questions come up repeatedly? What information does your salesperson need before calling someone? Where do requests get lost? We map one workflow first: a service enquiry, product question or order-status request. That makes the project easier to test and keeps the initial scope clear.

What the workflow can include

The scope can cover collecting a customer's requirements, answering from approved business information, creating a lead in your CRM and passing a conversation to staff. Checking stock or order status needs access to the system that holds those records. We confirm that access before promising an integration. A message saying a payment was sent is not a verified payment record.

A practical enquiry example

A customer asks: ‘Lahore mein delivery hoti hai aur medium size available hai?’ A simple workflow can identify the delivery question and ask which product they mean. If an inventory integration is part of the project, it can look up the item. If there is no reliable record, the enquiry should go to your team. This is an example of the proposed process, not a claimed client result.

Human handoff is part of the setup

Complaints, unclear requests and questions outside the approved information need an obvious route to a person. We agree on those handoff points, who receives the request and what conversation context they see. For actions that change business records, we define confirmation and permission rules. Start with a smaller, supervised workflow before expanding access.

What affects the quote

The price depends on your conversation volume, the systems involved, the quality of your existing information and the actions the workflow needs to perform. Ask for setup, hosting, messaging, model usage and support costs as separate items. WhatsApp platform and inbox-provider charges are separate from development. We prepare a project scope before giving a final price.

What we need from you

Bring anonymised examples of typical enquiries, your approved answers, the tools you already use and the name of the person responsible for customer support. If you want Urdu or Roman Urdu responses, include real examples in those languages. Testing should cover missing details and mistakes as well as the easy questions. Account ownership, access and handover are agreed before launch.

Planning WhatsApp marketing in Pakistan

Decide whether the goal is to receive new enquiries, update an existing order or send an expected promotion. Those journeys need different records and message handling. A website chat button is a way for a visitor to start a conversation; it is not an automated campaign or a shared inbox.

An enquiry journey

A website or ad can open a chat with the requested service or product in the draft. Decide who responds, which details qualify the enquiry and where staff record the next action. An opened draft does not show that the visitor sent a message or became a customer.

A promotion workflow

Define the audience, approved offer, customer permission record and a way to stop future promotions. Test suppression of opted-out contacts and assign staff to handle replies. Message submission, delivery, a reply and a completed sale are separate outcomes.

Check the channel before quoting automation

Review the business account, supported inbox or API access, message purpose and staff handoff. Itemise build work separately from provider, platform and usage charges. Confirm whether the project is a manual chat link, a staff-managed inbox or a supported Business Platform integration; one does not imply the others are included.

WhatsApp's messaging policy requires recipient permission and respect for opt-out requests. For the Business Platform, business-initiated messages use approved templates; free-form replies are limited to the customer service window. Automation also needs a clear escalation route. These are platform requirements to check against the current policy and account setup, not an assurance that a campaign will be approved or delivered.

For paid audience acquisition, discuss campaign management. For an assistant, use the AI agent pilot test cases to review actual responses and handoff behaviour.

Questions before you start

Do I need a custom AI agent?

Not always. A structured reply flow or a shared inbox may be enough. An AI assistant becomes useful when questions vary; tool access is useful when the process needs live records. We start with the requirement.

Can I keep staff involved?

Yes. The workflow should define when staff receive a request and how they take over. It can begin by drafting replies for review instead of sending every answer automatically.

Are WhatsApp charges included?

Platform, provider and model charges need to be itemised in the proposal. Their amount depends on the services and usage involved; they should not be assumed to be unlimited.
