How to Choose an AI Automation Agency in Pakistan
Compare agencies using one real workflow, integration evidence, pilot checks, recurring costs and account ownership. Includes a free proposal worksheet.
Choose an AI automation agency by asking it to explain one workflow in your business: what starts the task, which information it can trust, which actions it may perform and when a person takes over. Compare written scopes and observed pilot behaviour before comparing sales claims.
This guide is for Pakistani business owners evaluating enquiry handling, staff follow-up or sales and support automation. It is an AI-assisted planning guide published by BringPak, which offers these services. It is not an independent agency ranking or a report of tested client results. Use the checklist with any provider.
Send the same small brief to every agency
Start with a repeated task your staff can describe. “Automate our business” is too broad to compare. A useful brief might say: collect a website enquiry, identify the requested service, create a draft CRM lead and send it to a staff member for review.
Name the channel, current tool, approximate workload, languages and person responsible for the task. Use anonymised examples. If you do not know the volume or current handling time, mark it unknown and measure a sample instead of inventing a number for the quote.
Our automation pilot planner helps organise this starting brief. A fixed first workflow makes it easier to see whether two proposals cover the same work.
Ask what is available now and what still needs access
A polished chat demonstration does not establish access to your inventory, appointment calendar or customer records. Ask the agency to separate an existing capability from a proposed integration and an unsupported assumption.
- Read: Which system supplies current product or order information?
- Write: Can the workflow only draft a record, or can it save changes?
- Permission: Who approves actions such as refunds, cancellations or bookings?
- Failure: What does staff see when the connection is unavailable?
For example, a customer saying “payment bhej di” is not payment verification. A proposed assistant should explain which trusted record confirms payment and who handles an unmatched transfer. That answer is more useful than a general claim that the agent can manage sales.
Use a short observed pilot rather than an edited demo
Agree the expected behaviour before testing. Include easy questions and cases where the system should stop. For a retail enquiry, test an unclear item name, an unavailable variant, missing inventory access and a repeated confirmation.
Include Urdu or Roman Urdu examples if customers use those languages. Ask for the actual reply and resulting record, not just a screenshot of a friendly message. If the assistant must pass a complaint to staff, verify who receives it and whether automated replies pause.
The ten AI agent pilot checks and editable test worksheet give illustrative cases. They are starting points; your team must add the exceptions in its own process.
Compare the complete cost and the spending controls
Ask for a breakdown rather than treating a low setup price as the whole budget. A proposal should distinguish discovery and build work, third-party subscriptions, model usage, messaging, hosting, support and changes after launch. Check whether tax, currency conversion or provider fees are excluded.
Request a usage assumption and an alert or limit where the provider supports one. A price based on a small sample does not establish the cost of unlimited conversations. Confirm who receives provider invoices and who can change the account's spending settings.
Read the automation costs and use cases guide for scope questions. Do not compare two totals until you know what each includes.
Decide who owns the accounts and the handover
Identify ownership of the business channel, cloud account, automation workspace, knowledge source and data exports. Agree the access each staff role needs, who can revoke a connection and what happens when the support agreement ends.
A handover should explain how to update approved answers, review failures, stop the workflow and retrieve agreed records. Ask who is responsible for monitoring and how an incident is reported. If only the agency can operate the system, that dependency should be visible before signing.
Use an evidence column when comparing proposals
For each requirement, record one of four states: demonstrated with synthetic data, included but not yet tested, dependent on access, or excluded. These are comparison labels, not a certification or an overall score.
Suppose Agency A includes CRM lead creation but still needs API access. Agency B demonstrates draft creation in a test workspace. Both may be viable, but their evidence is different. Ask what remains before acceptance rather than declaring a winner from a feature checklist.
Download the free AI automation proposal worksheet (TXT). It includes fields for scope, evidence, cost assumptions, ownership and the decision after the pilot. The TXT file can be edited locally. A printable three-page PDF worksheet is also available for completing by hand. Neither version submits information to BringPak.
Set a decision after the pilot
Agree whether the next step is to expand, correct issues and retest, keep a supervised draft workflow or stop. If measuring time saved, document the baseline task, sample, review time and exceptions. Simulated test results should never be presented as production savings.
BringPak is based in Lahore and discusses projects online with businesses across Pakistan. To request a proposal for AI automation, send the task, tools, languages and permitted actions through our project enquiry page. We review scope and supported access before proposing the implementation.
Measure the pilot, including staff review
Use the same batch to compare correct completions, handoffs, failed cases, total staff minutes and operating charges. Try the calculator and download a blank results worksheet.
