Restaurant Websites & Online Ordering in Pakistan

Plan a restaurant website, digital menu and WhatsApp ordering workflow in Pakistan. Define delivery areas, order confirmation and kitchen handoff with BringPak.

Plan the workflow before development

A digital menu is different from a confirmed order

A customer can read your menu and send a WhatsApp message without the kitchen having accepted an order. Decide who checks availability, confirms the address and tells the customer that preparation has started. Show delivery fees, minimum order rules and opening hours before checkout. If an item sells out, the menu needs an update process the staff can actually use.

Choose how orders reach the kitchen

A small restaurant may start with a menu and a structured WhatsApp order draft. A shared dashboard becomes useful when several staff members handle pickup, delivery and dine-in requests. Agree one order reference, the status meanings and who can cancel or change a request. A duplicate message should not create a second meal. A website alone does not supply a rider fleet or replace your delivery arrangements.

Prepare the menu and operating rules

Provide categories, item names, permitted photos, prices and options such as size or spice level. Confirm delivery areas, pickup instructions and how staff handle unavailable items. For reservations, define capacity and who approves requests. The written scope should distinguish a WhatsApp draft from automated messaging, online payment and POS integration, each of which needs its own access and testing.

Rehearse a repeated order and an unavailable item

Use an invented order reference and submit the same request twice, including a page refresh or repeat message. Staff should be able to identify the repeat without sending two meals to preparation. Next mark one ordered item unavailable and show how the customer receives an alternative or cancellation before the kitchen accepts the revised order. Record who confirms the final items, price and delivery charge. A WhatsApp draft alone cannot enforce duplicate detection; if staff handle it manually, make that responsibility explicit. This is a proposed rehearsal, not a measured restaurant result.

Questions before requesting a proposal

Do we need a restaurant app?

Not necessarily. A mobile website or QR menu may cover the initial workflow without asking customers to install an app. Choose based on how orders are handled and whether staff can maintain the menu.

Is direct ordering completely free?

A direct website avoids depending on a marketplace checkout, but development, hosting, messaging, payment processing and delivery can still have costs. Compare the complete operating scope rather than assuming zero charges.

Sector Operational Challenges

•Menu, availability and delivery rules maintained across separate customer channels.
•Repeated order messages without one agreed kitchen acceptance record.
•Unclear ownership of customer confirmation, order changes and cancellations.
