Retail & Clothing Store Website Development in Pakistan

Plan an online retail or clothing store in Pakistan with product variants, COD orders, stock records, dispatch and returns. Scope your store with BringPak.

Plan the workflow before development

Build the catalogue around sellable variants

A shirt in three sizes and two colours has six possible variants. Give each sellable variant a consistent SKU, price, availability and permitted product images. Decide how to handle size charts, unavailable combinations and products sold in bundles. Prepare a small representative catalogue before importing the full range so the store team can check filters, variant selection and mobile product pages.

Choose which stock record the store should trust

If products sell both in a shop and online, decide which system owns the available quantity. A POS connection depends on supported access and the operations it exposes. Without that connection, agree a manual update routine and explain the limits to staff. Test two customers ordering the last unit, a cancelled order and a returned item. Returned stock should become available only after the agreed inspection step.

Follow the order beyond checkout

Keep the order reference through customer confirmation, packing, courier handover and payment reconciliation. A COD order is not collected revenue at checkout; a courier booking is not proof of delivery. Define who checks delivery failures, exchanges, refunds and settlement differences. Gateway and courier connections are separately scoped after reviewing the merchant accounts and supported access. Start with a workflow staff can operate when an external service is unavailable.

Test the last-unit order before accepting the store

Use a synthetic variant with one available unit and submit two orders through separate sessions. The agreed result should reserve the unit once; the other request must show an unavailable or staff-review state rather than promise a second unit. Then cancel the reserved order and check when stock becomes available again. Repeat through the shop channel if a POS connection is included. If stock is updated manually, record that limitation and the staff reconciliation step in the proposal. This is a suggested acceptance scenario, not a claim that a particular store has passed it.

Questions before requesting a proposal

Can an existing shop sell online without replacing its POS?

Yes. The first scope can use a catalogue and an agreed stock update process. A live POS sync is a separate decision after reviewing the current system's supported access, variant identifiers and conflict handling.

Are delivery and return charges included in the website price?

Development pricing covers the agreed build. Courier charges, payment processing, subscriptions and return handling are operating costs to confirm separately. The proposal should identify account ownership and which integrations are included.

Sector Operational Challenges

•Size and colour variants recorded inconsistently across the shop and online catalogue.
•Orders accepted against stock that has already sold through another channel.
•Dispatch, returns and COD settlements tracked in separate records.
